 Artist Letty Nowak is just back from her trip to Nicaragua, where the ISA World Masters Surfing Championship 5th Edtion was held. Athletes from 26 nations came to experience the incredible waves and majestic beauty of the landscape. Nowak met some pretty amazing people from both the surfing competition and the locals. The gentle and friendly people, ideal waves, and bountiful fresh food bring you to another place and time. The ISA is promoting "A Better Surfing Future" bringing people from different cultures together. Surfers 35 to 50 and older show the surfing ability and lifestyle of some true Masters in surfing. The President Fernando Aguerre is one of Nowaks subjects in Faces of Surfing. Nowak is now working on her second series of paintings for the Faces Of Surfing Project. She travels around the world to find people in all aspects of the surfing community. The results from the competition:
