When I think of the definition of courage Amy Purdy would be just that. There are people in this world that defy all odds and she is one of them. For some of us there is a fight just to survive. Then there are those few that fight to survive and live a full life. Where giving up is not an option. These individuals turn their tragedy into something that gives hope to others that want to give up. When you get down to it, life is not about how much you have or how fabulous you think you may be. It's about giving back even when you don't think you can do it. The phrase " just walk a mile in my shoes" is something we should all think about. If we think about Amy Purdy and her courage, spirit, and heart the world just might be a better place.
